Music fans are dying to be able to, once again, enjoy some great live music. However, many people are still hesitant to get into close proximity with large numbers of strangers, especially in an indoor environment.
What's the solution?
Hosting a private "friends/family only" concert in your own backyard (or the backyard of someone whose arm you were able to twist :) ). No worries about strangers in your bathroom. These are people you know, trust and would be getting together with anyway over the course of the summer.
So, how would this work?
We want to ensure public health safety guidelines are adhered to and we wouldn't want to encourage you to annoy your neighbours. Therefore:
What acts are available?
We have access to some outstanding acts (see below) and are in discussion with more.
What is the cost?
We will not be "selling tickets". These events will be "by donation". What costs do we need to cover? Between $650 and $1000, depending on the act. So, do you know 25 - 40 people who would be willing to throw $20-$25 'into the hat' for an afternoon of great music?
If you would be interested in hosting one of these events, let's chat! Reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org

Consisting of members of Vancouver's extraordinary funk rock trailblazers, Raincity, Vibetown aims to celebrate their roots in jazz and r&b. This video showcases their jazzier leanings. However, in concert you can expect some funkin' sweet & soulful grooves influenced by eclectic artists spanning the 20th century.
